EFFECT OF EARLY BERRY THINNING AND GIRDLING ON GRAPE QUALITY OF CV. VICTORIA

The research was carried out at University of Belgrade Faculty Agriculture experimental station “Radmilovac” on table grape Victoria cv with aim to improve quality and consideration the introduction these ampelographic measures in regular grapevine growing. included two treatments berry thinning (thinning bunch tip - BtT first lateral wink -BtW), girdling (G) control (C). Combined effect were not examined. following features examined: fertility yield, dimensions, structure, sugar content total acidity. did have significant uvometric parameters quality, but they improved yield by 41.7% (BtW) 51.4% (BtT) comparison control. It can be explained bad fruit set influenced unfavourable meteorological conditions during flowering treatment. Berry achieves a better set. should applied as measure according weather phonological stage. Results confirm positive influence girdling. increased 88,34% compared control, berries had higher diameter (for about 1mm respect control), mass level against other treatments, (17,00%), acidity (5,75 g/L) too. Girdling introduced cultivars vineyards, order obtain yields grape.
